INTERNSHIP
· Completed 30 days In Plant Internship at “Suditi Industries, Navi Mumbai”for processing of knitted cotton fabrics from June 2008 to July 2008.
PROJECTS
Completed under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) R.V.Adivarekar, Department of Fibres and Textiles Processing Technology, Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai.
Project comprised extraction and modification of biopolymers such as chitosan, carrageenan and casein (protein) for their potential application as wound healing dressing. Dressing material developed has nanofibrous and mesoporous structure that can accelerate hemostatic activity against hemorrhage and tissue growth for effective wound healing process.
Worked under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) R.V.Adivarekar, Department of Fibres and Textiles Processing Technology, Institute of Chemical Technology, Mumbai.
Project included preparation of stained fabrics and study of various parameters of detergent ingredients that affect the stain removal. Detergent ingredient was optimized by statistical experimental design for effective removal of carbon black oily soiled stain fabric.
· Industrial sponsor project fellow, Topic: “Yellowing of fabrics”
During M.Tech course, had opportunity to work on a project sponsored by“Hindustan UnileverLimited, Bangalore”for duration of 18 months from Dec 2011 to April 2013 under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) R. V. Adivarekar, Department of Fibres and Textiles Processing Technology, ICT, Mumbai.
Project included study of fatty acids and various home laundry parameters that cause yellowing of bleached cotton fabrics.
· B. Tech Topic: “Comparative study of dyeing behavior & physical properties of micro denier polyester & normal polyester”
Worked under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Shirishkumar Vhanbatte,Department of Textile Chemistry, D.K.T.E College, Ichalkaranji.
