Dr. Byong H. Lee is a full Professor of McGill University, Canada.
He is also the Distinguished Professor of Jiangnan University and the Hononary
Professor of
Changchun University. Prof. Lee has published more than 180 peer-reviewed
papers and 21 books/chapters. He has have been recognized as an internationally
renowned champion in enzyme and microbial technology and their commercial
applications. He has focused on fermentation and biotechnology research and
education in enzyme technology and molecular microbiology. The specific components
of my research pertain to the molecular and biochemical characterization as
well as scale up of the production of probiotic and other enzymes in order to:
(i) produce bioactive compounds, and (ii) develop health promoting probiotics
(cholesterol reducing, anticancer, fat reducing, etc).
